Core AI Academy · by Core Consultancy

Build a workforce that actually uses AI.

Your company may already pay for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok — yet most people use it like a search box, or not at all. CORE: AI Foundations is a hands-on, 10-session program that teaches every employee, from entry level to managers, to get real work done with AI — safely, verifiably, and with records your ISO 9001 auditor can review.

The problem

Most teams have AI. Few use it as a work tool.

This is what we see again and again in Philippine companies — from family-run SMEs to ISO-certified manufacturers. None of it is anyone’s fault: most people were simply never taught how.

AI used like a search box

People type a few keywords, copy the first answer and move on. They ask AI for facts instead of giving it real work — drafting, summarizing, analyzing, checking.

AI used to confirm what people already believe

Leading questions get agreeable answers. AI tends to go along with the user, so without training people mistake agreement for accuracy.

Paid plans, basic results

The company pays for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok, but Projects, custom instructions and instruction files go unused and usage limits run out — so every chat starts from zero.

Low exposure, low confidence

Many employees have never had structured AI training, and some hold back because they think they need perfect English. They don’t — Taglish works.

Back offices left behind

HR, Finance, Admin and Procurement do the most text-heavy, repetitive work — yet they are often the last to learn how to use AI as a tool.

No proof of competence

Even when training happens, nobody records who learned what. There’s nothing a manager — or an ISO 9001 auditor — can review.

What changes after CORE

  • Searching for answers

    Delegating real work

  • Accepting the first reply

    Checking with the 3C Check

  • Starting every chat from zero

    Configured Projects & instruction files

  • Scattered, invisible habits

    Assessed, documented competence

The solution · three signature methods

Three simple frameworks. One confident habit.

CORE: AI Foundations turns AI from a search box into an everyday work tool. Every lesson comes back to the same three methods — easy to remember, easy to check, and they work in any AI assistant.

The CORE Prompt Method

Our signature method turns vague one-liners into prompts that produce a useful first draft — in simple English, Taglish or Filipino. Four parts, one word to remember.

Example prompt · HR

C · Context
I’m the HR officer of a 60-person food manufacturer in Laguna. Most of our staff read basic English.

O · Objective
Write a memo announcing our new overtime request process, starting October 1.

R · Rules
Simple English, under 150 words, polite but firm, 3 numbered steps, end with who to ask.

E · Examples
Match the tone of the memo I pasted below (between the --- lines).

Thinking in Taglish? Write the prompt the way you think, and ask for the output in simple English — then check the meaning didn’t change.

The 3C Check

A 60-second checklist before anything AI helped you make is used, sent or filed. The person who checks the output is the person who owns it.

Correct
Facts, numbers, names and sources are verified against the original — not just “sounds right”.
Complete
It fully answers the objective. Nothing important is missing, and nothing was quietly invented to fill a gap.
Confidential
No personal or confidential data was exposed. It follows company policy and the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

Try it on an AI-drafted supplier email

3C Check
Not ready yet — 0 of 3 checks done.

The AI Fluency 4D framework

Anthropic’s AI Fluency framework describes four ways people work well with AI. We use it as the backbone of our seven competencies — and teach it with Philippine workplace examples.

Delegation

Deciding what work to give AI — and how: automation, augmentation or agency.

At work: Choosing the right task, tool and mode, and keeping people on the judgment calls.

C1 C4

Main focus on Day 1, 2, 8, 9

Description

Communicating clearly with AI: the product you want, the process to follow and how it should behave.

At work: CORE prompts, good follow-ups, Projects and instruction files that stop you repeating yourself.

C2 C5

Main focus on Day 3, 4, 7

Discernment

Critically evaluating what AI produces and how it behaves — the Description–Discernment loop.

At work: Spotting hallucinations and flattery, checking facts and numbers, fixing weak output.

C3 C7

Main focus on Day 5, 10

Diligence

Taking responsibility for how AI is used: what you create, how open you are about it and what you deploy.

At work: Protecting personal data, following policy, disclosing AI help and owning the result.

C6

Main focus on Day 6

Programs

Three levels. Start with CORE.

How learning works

Step by step. Not a video.

Each day is a guided lesson of about 11 short steps. Learners read one idea at a time, see it work, try it in their own AI tool and check what they learned — at their own pace, on a phone or a laptop.

  • One idea per screen Short screens in simple English. No long videos to sit through.
  • Practice in your own AI tool Real tasks from the learner’s own job, in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot.
  • Quick checks as you go Small, ungraded questions confirm the key idea before moving on.
  • A 15-item quiz to finish Timed, auto-graded and saved to the learner’s record.

Run it live online, on-site or hybrid with a facilitator — or self-paced. Progress saves automatically, so nobody loses their place.

Day 03 · CORE

The CORE Prompt Method

Step 3 of 12

Concept

C — Context

AI can’t read your mind. Context tells it who you are, what is happening and who will read the result.

  • Who you are — your role and company
  • The situation and the background facts
  • The audience and their reading level

Tip · Taglish is OK. Write the context the way you think. Then ask for the answer in simple English.

A preview of Day 3. Every day follows the same rhythm: learn, see it, try it, check it.

CORE: AI Foundations · curriculum

Two weeks. Ten sessions. A new way of working.

Week 1 builds the core skills: understand, prompt, verify. Week 2 makes them safe and practical: privacy, workspace setup, and real back-office work. Every day is a 2-hour, step-by-step lesson that ends with a 15-item quiz.

Tap a day to see its objectives and topics.

Week 1

Understand · prompt · verify

  1. Move from the “search engine” mindset to the “capable assistant you direct and check” mindset. Learn how large language models actually produce answers, what they do well, where they fail, and the 4D framework that guides the whole program.

By the end of the day you can

    • Explain in plain words how an AI assistant generates an answer
    • List tasks AI does well and tasks where it often fails
    • Recognize common myths that keep teams from using AI well
    • Describe the 4D framework: Delegation, Description, Discernment, Diligence

    Topics

    • How LLMs work
    • Knowledge cutoff & web search
    • Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Copilot
    • Strengths & limits
    • Hallucination
    • Myths
    • Search vs. delegate
    • Automation · augmentation · agency
    • The 4D framework
    • Human in the loop
    • Agreeableness trap
    • Multimodal AI

2 hours, step by step Ends with a 15-item quiz

  2. Get full value from the subscription your company already pays for: what paid plans add, why usage limits exist and how to stretch them, the context window, choosing a model or mode, the feature map, and the privacy settings every employee should check.

By the end of the day you can

    • Explain usage limits, tokens and the context window in plain words
    • Choose a suitable model or mode for a task (speed vs. quality)
    • Use the key features: files, projects, memory, web search, voice, artifacts
    • Configure privacy settings and keep company work in approved accounts

    Topics

    • Free vs. paid plans
    • Usage limits
    • Tokens & context window
    • Choosing a model or mode
    • Feature map
    • Organizing chats & projects
    • Privacy controls
    • Company vs. personal accounts
    • Mobile & voice
    • Filipino & Taglish
    • Right tool for the task
    • Account security

2 hours, step by step Ends with a 15-item quiz

  3. The signature method of the program: Context, Objective, Rules, Examples. Turn vague one-liners into prompts that produce useful first drafts — in simple English, Taglish or Filipino.

By the end of the day you can

    • Write prompts with all four CORE parts: Context, Objective, Rules, Examples
    • Specify audience, reading level, tone and output format
    • Separate instructions from pasted source text
    • Improve a weak prompt using the CORE checklist

2 hours, step by step Ends with a 15-item quiz

  4. Great results come from conversations, not single prompts. Practice the Description–Discernment loop, targeted follow-ups, clarifying questions, task decomposition, few-shot examples and structured outputs you can paste into Excel.

By the end of the day you can

    • Refine a draft with targeted follow-up prompts
    • Break a big task into a chain of smaller prompts
    • Use examples and step-by-step reasoning for consistent, checkable output
    • Request tables and CSV that paste cleanly into a spreadsheet

    Topics

    • Description–Discernment loop
    • Targeted follow-ups
    • Clarifying questions
    • Task decomposition

    • Edit vs. regenerate vs. new chat
    • Summary levels

2 hours, step by step Ends with a 15-item quiz

  5. The most important habit of the program. Learn why AI hallucinates, how its tendency to agree with you can confirm your biases, how to fact-check and number-check efficiently, and when a qualified human must review — all summarized in the 3C Check.

By the end of the day you can

    • Recognize hallucinations, fake citations and invented numbers
    • Avoid using AI to confirm your biases — ask for the other side
    • Verify facts and numbers against primary sources
    • Apply the 3C Check (Correct, Complete, Confidential) before using any output

    Topics

    • Hallucinations
    • Fact-checking workflow
    • Sycophancy & confirmation bias
    • Completeness vs. objective

Every question is reviewed at least every 6 months for relevancy. Item statistics help us fix or retire items that are too easy, too hard or unclear.

ISO 9001:2015 integration

AI competence, on the record.

Core Consultancy is an ISO 9001 consultancy first. The Academy was built to produce the documented information your quality management system needs — not just a certificate of attendance.

7.2

Competence

The standard asks you to determine the competence people need, make sure they are competent, evaluate whether the training worked, and keep evidence. The Academy covers all four:

a) Determine competence
Seven AI competencies (C1–C7) define what “AI-competent” means in your company.
b) Train
10 guided sessions, with every learner’s progress tracked day by day.
c) Evaluate effectiveness
The post-training assessment checks real workplace application 2 weeks later.
d) Retain documented information
Every attempt, score and certificate is recorded and exportable.
7.3

Awareness

People understand your AI use policy, how their work contributes, and what happens when rules aren’t followed. Day 6 covers the Data Privacy Act, accountability and disclosure — and the 3C Check makes it a daily habit.

7.5

Documented information

Records are kept on the platform, access-controlled by role and exportable to your document control system. Day 9 also teaches teams to draft SOPs with AI — while people review and approve.

FAQ

Questions owners and HR managers ask us.

  • Everyone in the company — entry-level staff, supervisors, managers and professionals. No technical background is needed. Lessons use simple English, and every day includes practice on tasks from the learner’s own job.

  • No. The free versions of Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot are enough to complete the program. If your company already pays for plans, Days 2 and 7 show how to get much more out of them — usage limits, Projects, custom instructions and instruction files.

  • The skills are tool-neutral: the CORE Prompt Method, the 3C Check and the 4D framework work in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Grok. Learners practice in whichever approved tool your company uses, and lessons show where features differ — for example Projects, Gems and custom GPTs.

  • Simple, clear English. Taglish is welcome — in class and in prompts. Day 3 shows how to prompt in Taglish or Filipino, get professional English output and check that the meaning didn’t change.

  • After we agree the plan, your HR team receives an enrollment code for each batch. Employees create their Academy account with that code (“Have an enrollment code?” at the top of this page), then log in to follow the lessons, take the quizzes and see their own records. HR coordinators get a read-only view of their company’s gradebook.

  • All three. Sessions can run live online, on-site at your office, or as a mix. Learners follow the same step-by-step lessons on the Academy platform either way, so progress and results are recorded the same way.

  • Each day ends with a 15-item quiz. The final exam has 50 items, 5 from each day. 2 weeks after training, a 30-item scenario assessment checks how people apply AI at work. Every learner gets different questions from large pools, answer options are shuffled, exams are timed with autosave, and difficulty is balanced so every exam is equivalent.

  • Daily quizzes can be taken up to 3 times, and the highest score counts. The final exam allows one retake after 24 hours. Anyone below the 75% pass mark is marked “Not Yet Competent” — not “failed” — and their competency breakdown shows exactly what to review. We agree a refresher plan with your HR team.

  • Clause 7.2 asks you to determine competence, train, evaluate the effectiveness of training and keep documented information as evidence. The Academy does all four: a defined competency framework (C1–C7), recorded training progress, a post-training effectiveness assessment and exportable records — including a competency matrix you can keep in IMPAQMS.

  • Learner accounts hold only what training records need — name, work email, job title or department, and assessment results. Records are visible only to the learner, your authorized HR coordinators and our facilitators, and we handle personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Day 6 also teaches your people what never to paste into an AI tool.

  • No. Core AI Academy is an independent program and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. Our competencies are aligned with the domain structure of Anthropic’s Claude Certified Associate – Foundations exam and the AI Fluency framework, so graduates build a strong foundation if they choose to pursue Anthropic’s own certification, which is administered only by Anthropic.

  • Yes. Practice tasks, examples and the Day 8–9 labs can be tailored to your industry and departments — manufacturing, services, retail, logistics and more — and to your company’s AI policy and approved tools.

  • It depends on your headcount, the delivery format (online, on-site or hybrid) and any customization. Send us an inquiry and we’ll prepare a proposal for your team.
